Stanta are glad to be back in booming Peterborough for our second contract this year with a new order for SFS & Cladding works from Wates to their Manor Drive Academy school development.
This is another school award from Wates NHC to follow the successful delivery of the previous schools in their batches and is much appreciated reward for an excellent working relationship.
Manor Drive Academy is a Four C’s Academy Trust development and at full capacity the schools will cater for up to 1346 students; 900 secondary and 446 primary (including nursery). The schools will grow incrementally in numbers year on year. The proposed school building will be 8,899 m2 in floor area and is programmed to open in September 2022.
Stanta scope on the project includes almost 4000m2 of deep profile SFS and associated works such as Insulations, Boarding and Brick channels etc. The envelope is a mix of Brickwork and Hardieboard cladding. The latter of which will be installed by Stanta.
