Stanta have recently been appointed to provide the SFS infill works to phases 2 & 3 of the New Union Wharf development on the Isle of Dogs with Hill partnerships. This is the first new project with Hill Partnerships since Chobham farm and is a welcome return to a top quality housebuilder and developer.
The New Union Wharf estate regeneration will see 189 homes on the 1970s built estate replaced with 399 modern, energy efficient homes. The regeneration, which received planning approval in November 2012, will feature homes ranging from one to four bedrooms which will be available for social rent, shared ownership, and outright sale. The homes will all feature spacious outdoor areas including winter gardens and balconies, and will be constructed to East Thames’ high specification standards with modern energy saving features.
Stanta scope on the project includes design, supply and installation of all SFS infill walls, board, insulations, EPDMs and brick channels to provide the weathertight envelope excluding windows. Work begins on phase 2 in Mid August, followed by phase 3 works in early 2017. For more information and progress photos please visit our project page.
