Stanta secure new Fish Island developments

Stanta have recently been appointed to provide the SFS infill services to the large scale Fish Island redevelopment of Hackney Wick. This is our second project in Fish Island following the Roach road development for Anderson Group earlier this year, and continues our good relationship with Hill Partnerships following the delivery of projects at Walthamstow, Chobham Farm and New Union Wharf.

The development consists of 2 separate phases. 1A is the Monier road site, and 1B is the larger Neptune Wharf development.

The housing projects at Neptune Wharf and Monier Road, will include affordable rent, shared ownership, and intermediate market rent homes. There will also be some private sale and market rent homes.

The initial phase of 408 homes and workspace, designed by Haworth Tompkins, will be spread over 13 buildings on the site of former warehouses next to the Hertford Union Canal.

These buildings will sit alongside structures by Pitman Tozer and Lyndon Goode Architects in the later phases taking the development up to 580 homes with 44,000 sq ft of workspace operated by The Trampery, a London-based social enterprise.

Stanta scope on the project includes all SFS studwork, boards, insulations etc. Work begins onsite in late June 2017. For more information and progress photos please visit our project pages at Monier road and Neptune Wharf
