Stanta are due to commence installation of SFS studwork to the new Lewisham Exchange development for Tide Construction and our clients Century Facades.
We are looking forward to working with Century Facades on the project having developed the scope together over the last few months and getting the opportunity to work with some familiar faces in Century Facades and Tide Construction.
Lewisham Exchange will provide 758 student rooms and 67 affordable homes over 35 and 20 storeys, revitalising Lewisham town centre and making a significant contribution to the town’s ongoing regeneration.
The buildings will be connected at the lower levels to provide an entrance to the Bakerloo Line Extension, as well as supporting the additional retail, commercial and student amenity spaces along the ground floor.
The majority of the structures will be built in the Vision Modular factory in Bedford before delivery to site, with remaining areas to be infilled with SFS, Curtain walling and rainscreen cladding.
This development is located right next to the 4 towers Stanta delivered for the Lewisham Gateway development between 2014 to 2017 and marks a welcome return to the borough. For more information and progress photos please visit our projects page.
